Wondrous Grace is full of deep provoking poems. Poems of faith, love and loss. Many of these poems touch on what humanity faces each day, such as broken relationships, loss of jobs, and uncertainties of life. Yet, there is an element of healing and hope as one reads these stories. The photography is truly breathtaking! The photos capture nature with great detail and provide comfort.

"the photography is superb"
July 20, 2025 - Five out of five stars at goodreads.com
Many books of this sort are so earnest that their earnestness swamps everything else. Davis avoids this pitfall. My guess is that his experience as a songwriter/performer before general audiences has helped him pitch his work in a way that can appeal to anybody without deserting his own standpoint. Also, the photography is superb. I come from a family of shutterbugs and we take a lot of pictures of flowers. Getting one to come out really well is hard.

Wondrous Grace: The World As I See It vol 1 By Kirby Lee Davis is a simply beautiful book of poems and images that will sink into your heart and soul....The poems are a mix of themes but the presence of God is a constant throughout. All the images are stunningly beautiful. Most are from nature. All are taken by the author. Wondrous Grace is a book to ponder and to treasure. It is a book you will want to dip into again and again.

The World As I See It, Volume 1, by Kirby Lee Davis, uses heart moving poetry, lyrics, and photos to examine the ways God works in our lives. First up: My Testimony, sets forth the author's fascinating, though sometimes sad, life story in verse. Poignant poetry and lyrics in this new book move the heart. The spectacular photography is dramatic and glorifies the Creator. There are so many aspects of this book to enjoy.
