Kirby Lee Davis is an award-winning storyteller. Born with the desire to weave tales, KLD wrote and illustrated his first book at age 5 (or was it 8? Somewhere in there...). The first novel flowed from his typewriter during his second year at Mustang (OK) High School. The next year saw his entry into journalism, which led to the editor's post at his student newspaper. This 1982 University of Oklahoma graduate broke into the professional ranks as an entrepreneur, syndicating film reviews to eight different publications. His byline, photos, and graphics have since appeared in multiple print and wire services across the last 40+ years, earning dozens of awards from the Associated Press and other writing organizations. These endeavors also led him into book and video production, website development, game design, stage work, songwriting, and charity guitar performances. In 2017, KLD offered his first freelance communications consulting services. He has published five novels, three poetry and photography books, and the 40th anniversary edition of the legendary The Spawn of Fashan, with five more novels in development....
