In this series, I revisit gospel hymns that I grew up with, then moved away from as my church homes adopted contemporary worship music. With many modern songs now drifting from Scripture to generic, feel-good lyrics, I decided to revisit these classic hymns of my fathers, and renew these great messages of faith, the Bible, and Jesus. Ironically, many of these tunes represented "contemporary Christian music" of their day, but their strong, rhythmic passages survived the test of time.
