I enjoyed it very much. It's interesting to see how and why small towns grew back in those days I found the iinformation on Gene autry also quite interesting. I was a big fan of him when I was a kid. I ordered the 2nd book and hope to read it soon... thank you Kirby

This book is an excellent history of NE Oklahoma detailing the experiences of the Creek Nation, the development of the Ozark Trail and eventual arrival of the Frisco Railroad. This book is both exciting and informative. History buffs will love this book. (The GoodReads post includes this line: This history is a factor in the development of Route 66.)
