Prepare the Way
for the LORD
For those who wait upon the Lord
Will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk - yes they will walk! -
And not grow faint.
Do you hear the voice
Calling out in the wilderness,
“Prepare!
Prepare the way for the Lord!
His glory will be revealed,
And all our people will see it.
Prepare!
Prepare the way for the Lord, our God!
Prepare! Prepare the way for the Lord!”
For those who wait upon the Lord
