My Daily Prayer
I thank you Lord for this time we share,
The food on my plate, the clothes that I wear,
And this world you made to meet all my needs.
I thank you Lord for all your gifts this day,
Those that I see and those on the way,
And those that help prepare me for your deeds.
Most of all, I thank you for your love
That poured from the cross and rains from above.
Thank you for this life you let me live.
Help me to be an example of you
In all that I say and all that I do.
Help me to always love and forgive.
​You know the pain that burdens my heart,
Rattles my dreams, and tears me apart.
Help me to leave that sorrow in your care.
Guide those souls not with me this day.
Mark all their steps and show them the way,
And help them find your grace everywhere.
Lord, I thank you for your love
